This piece was inspired by the many self-portraits painted by the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. Harder than alabaster but softer than marble, limestone sculpture may be placed either indoors or in the garden. If limestone is kept outdoors, its surface hardens and may develop a patina of moss or lichen. |
